Jesper Buhl Trio

The members of the trio was brought together in the autumn of 2007 because of a sudden need that I felt for playing the ”standards”-repertoire in the classic combination of piano/bass/drums. In the same way as many musicians before me I had found myself going in a lot different directions and almost without me noticing this my actual favourite projects had gone out of sight. And as a consequence of this I then decided to drop out of most projects and concentrate on two bands; the trio and “Dino on the loose”.

I’ve been so fortunate as to being able to establish a studio in my home so having found the musicians, recording a demo was only a matter of putting up the mics and push record(and few other minor details that I won’t bore you with here). A few of the recordings went, in my opinion, quite satisfying, but I thought that I would let you judge by yourself and have put a selection up for download.

If everything goes as planned then we’ll be out playing and touring before long. Thus, if you like our brand of music and would like to hear us play “live” then come back here on occasion and check our agenda. Who knows, we just might be playing somewhere near to where you live.
